OTTAWA, KOMPAS.com — Pria bersenjata menembak mati seorang tentara di Tugu Peringatan Perang Nasional sebelum melakukan penembakan di dalam Gedung Parlemen Kanada, Rabu (22/10/2014) waktu setempat. Polisi telah memastikan pelaku penembakan telah ditembak mati.

Berikut kronologi drama penembakan yang terjadi berdasarkan waktu setempat, seperti yang dilansir AFP.

Pukul 09.52 (1352 GMT): Seorang pria bersenjata melepaskan tembakan kepada dua orang tentara di Tugu Peringatan Perang Nasional. Seorang tentara terkena peluru dan mengalami luka serius. Dia menerima perawatan di tempat kejadian sebelum dibawa ke rumah sakit.

Pukul 09:55: Puluhan tembakan terdengar di dekat Gedung Parlemen. Dalam rekaman video yang dirilis kemudian, terdengar ledakan keras, sebelum polisi berkerumun dan menelusuri asal ledakan.

Pukul 10:00: Polisi dua kali memperingatkan ada "penembak aktif" di Parlemen.

Pukul 10:04: Saksi mata mengatakan, pria bersenjata yang melepaskan tembakan di Tugu Peringatan Perang Nasional telah menuju ke Gedung Parlemen.

Pukul 10:12: Gedung Parlemen dijaga ketat.

Pukul 10:25: Polisi dari Royal Canadian Mounted menyarankan agar masyarakat menjauh dari Gedung Parlemen.

Pukul 10:37: Perdana Menteri Stephen Harper dievakuasi dari Gedung Parlemen.

Pukul 10:40: Polisi memperingatkan bahwa seorang pria bersenjata masih bebas dan staf di kantor Harper diberi tahu bahwa "penembak aktif" mengancam Parlemen.

Pukul 10:53: Polisi meminta orang-orang di pusat kota untuk menjauh dari jendela dan atap untuk menghindari dari daerah tersebut sepenuhnya.

Pukul 02.15: Polisi mengatakan operasi masih berlangsung karena mereka berusaha untuk mengidentifikasi tersangka.

Pukul 02.30: Harper mengutuk "serangan keji" dan mengatakan dia akan membahas hal ini dengan pemerintah pada Rabu waktu setempat.
